Hi,

I tried to enable mod_rewrite logging, but could not get it to work. Apache is 2.4.6 so it supports the new syntax

RewriteEngine On
LogLevel rewrite:trace5

But neither ~/logs/frontend/error_website.log nor ~/logs/frontend/error_website_php.log log any message from apache. What am I doing wrong?

TIA, M

LogLevel can't be used in .htaccess, so you can't set up rewrite logging unless you're running your own back-end Apache.

If you're trying to debug some rewrite problem, then feel free to open a support ticket. We can temporarily enable rewrite logging in the apache config for your site and send you the results.
