I am less than happy with the spam filtering provided by Webfaction.

I am tempted to switch my email to Google Apps, but have held off as:-
1) I did not know whether google spam filtering would be significantly better
2) Migrating lots of users would be a hassle

I have just become aware of "piloting google apps" as detailed here. Has anyone tried this with Webfaction?

I've never tried it, but it does seem very beneficial for system administrators to be able to test Google Apps and slowly migrate. If you try it, please let us know how it goes.

The piloting instructions seem to be pretty straightforward. When you enter the Destination server, use one (or more, if they let you) of the MX servers that we have listed in our domain docs.
