I have a python script (Flask) under a custom app listening on a port. I can get it to run perfectly using python2.6 app.py &. What would be the best route to take to make sure that this script is running constantly?

I have been looking at mod_wsgi, but I can't seem to get it working properly. What needs to be done beyond creating a custom app listening on a port to get mod_wsgi working?

Sorry for my silly beginner question, but I can't seem to get it at all...

All you should need to do is install a "mod_wsgi 3.2/ Python2.6" Type application and than configure the wsgi script to import the app,

from yourapplication import app as application
