I'm trying to install wp-cli, but not having any luck.

I'm following the instructions here, which suggest installing it somewhere in my PATH. So I've tried installing it in /home/username/bin which did not work, and also creating a subdirectory in bin and installing it there: /home/username/bin/wp.

I can curl it and make it executable, but when I run wp --info I get the error "http://wp-cli.org/".

Anything obvious that I'm doing wrong?

I checked your account and notice the file name for the script is

wp-cli.phar

You can run it by typing that. If you wanted to rename it this would rename the command.

Thank you!!! I didn't notice that when they moved it, they also renamed it. (I ignored that part because it required sudo in their example, and I don't have access to it. So I just installed it in bin in the first place.)

Thanks again! Very happy! This also helps me out with installing some other items, as well.
