Hi, I'm just hoping for a quick what to do. I just made a new Git app via the control panel, and it returned a bunch of errors:
FYI: Had to manually add lt / gt character entities to the code. The created directory does not look complete compared to the Git webapp I'd previously deleted (via the same panel) The app does appear in the applications list. Should this be cause for alarm? Would just like to know if it's safe to delete/try again. Would like to get cracking at this again today (klynton let me know via a support ticket where I was off yesterday... turns out I was not supposed to include the repos folder in the url, even though that worked for cloning, or seemed to) PS: I had a space in the default password field, otherwise nothing new. asked 16 Feb '11, 11:23 Mick |
Issues like this need to be addressed in a support ticket since it is something wrong with the control panel or server, the Webfaction community would not be able to provide any information on these 2 things. answered 16 Feb '11, 14:05 johns Was only looking for a quick yes/no opinion. I see you (or someone with a similar name) already replied to a support ticket I tagged this issue onto this morning. I'm accustomed to support tickets taking a couple days (not necessarily from you guys) so I thought whichever would be faster. No real harm.

It is safe to delete the app and try again if you want to do that. The app might not delete successfully (because of the error when it was created) but you won't hurt anything by trying.
