Hello,

until recently I used phantomJS for my webscraping projects on webfaction. Since it was discontinued, I was looking for an alternative and tried to use the headless chrome with chromedriver. Unfortunately I couldnt get it to run. After a long back and forth with customer services, we got to a point where libXss was necessary.

Long story short since I cannot use the sudo command to install the libXss package(s), they recommended to ask here, if the developer staff could build the libXss packages into my user-space.

If anyone could suggest me another approach for scraping dynamic content with python I'd be more than happy.

Regards

You should contact the developer community of the software you wish to build or change. The section 'getting involved' has more info on how to do this for chromedriver.
