I am trying to create a crontab. Currently, I receive the following when typing "crontab -l"

no crontab for [username]

When I try to save a new crontab, I receive the following:

Do you want to retry the same edit? y
crontab: installing new crontab
"/tmp/crontab.hKp4zd":2: bad minute
errors in crontab file, can't install.

There is no such file crontab.hKp4zd under the tmp folder. Should I create it?

As you can tell, I am totally new to crontab editing.

The error indicates the format of what you are saving is wrong. See our docs for more info.
