As the title says, I am passing my IPv6 address in the aaaa_ip parameter as documented here: https://docs.webfaction.com/xmlrpc-api/apiref.html#method-create_dns_override

The response is always "Enter a valid IPv4 address.".

Do I need to include a_ip as an empty string when I supply an IPv6?

Also, if I run the same script again later with a new IP for the same domain, will it ADD an entry, or overwrite what's already there? Do I need to run delete_dns_override?

Looks like it was a miscalculation on my part. I was testing using CURL on my server, so the script was receiving the server's LAN IP and not a public IP.
