Hi all,

I'm trying to set up nginx as a reverse proxy as explained here: https://community.webfaction.com/questions/20137/straight-forward-nginx-reverse-proxy-installation-no-uwsgi. Since the attached is more than just a couple of lines, I wanted to put it in a shell script, modify the parameters and then just run it. I've saved it as "install.sh" in my application folder, but when i try to run it with ./install.sh, I see -bash: ./install.sh: Permission denied. I'm logged in via ssh under the primary user associated with the account. I'm also unable to su/sudo, but that kind of makes sense since I'm on the shared plan (1GB).

Any help is much appreciated. Cheers!

Make sure you have the executable bit set for the script file. Or run it with bash itself. eg: bash install.sh
