Mixed bag. Their service, even the free option, speeds things up a lot and offers some security, but they have downtime: https://twitter.com/#!/cloudflaresys https://www.cloudflare.com/system-status

I tried Incapsula for a bit, but it wasn't as fast and didn't offer all the features I needed.

Other than those two, you start to get into enterprise pricing...
