hi folks,

I just wanna do a simple rename command alter table "customUsers_teachsubject" rename to subject_teachers; Strangely, the statement did not complete because it timed out.

any takers?

This happens when your table is so large that it takes longer than the statement_timeout to complete.

How large is your table?

Then that is very weird. Are you still able to drop and recreate the table with the new name?
