I have set up a Trac instance with mod_wsgi on Python 2.7. I have also configured Subversion. It seems that libsvn is not yet available on Webfaction for Python 2.7. When I do import svn in Python 2.7 shell, I get No module name svn. And, that is why TracBrowser does not correctly display the source repository.

I'd be thankful for any help on this:

  • how to compile libsvn for Python 2.7
  • or, is there any other workaround to make TracBrowser work fine with Subversion and Python 2.7?

Thanks in advance.

You can either build subversion form source or copy the the one from python2.4 to 2.7,

$ cp -R /usr/local/lib/svn-python/svn/ ~/lib/python2.7/

Thanks. I also needed to copy /usr/local/lib/svn-python/libsvn/ too.
