I recently installed PHP 5.3 using the script https://wiki.webfaction.com/attachment/wiki/MiscellaneousFiles/build_php_worker_531.sh

Although it appears to be running file I'm getting the following notices in my error log file:

[notice] mod_fcgid: call /home/peterhough/XXX/YYY/ZZZ.php with wrapper /home/peterhough/webapps/php_worker/php_fcgi/bin/php-cgi
[notice] mod_fcgid: process /home/peterhough/XXX/YYY/ZZZ.php(19604) exit(lifetime expired), terminated by calling exit(), return code: 0

Is this something to worry about? How do I prevent it?

Thanks in advance.

Those just look like notices and not errors, you should try adjusting the LogLevel,

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/core.html#loglevel

..and are these notices safe to ignore?

Yes. These lines do not indicate any issue or errors.
