Hi,

I tried to upgrade from my WP dashboard from version 3.05 to version 3.12 and my site crashed. I now get a "500 Internal server" error. I have opened a support ticket for help.

I have 2 questions:

  1. How long does it normally take for Support to respond to "Urgent" tickets.
  2. Is it not possible to upgrade Wordpress from within the dashboard?

Wow, while I was writing this, someone replied to my Support ticket already! So I got the answer to my first question - it takes < 5 minutes for someone to respond to an Urgent ticket.

  1. The response time depends on how many urgent tickets are ahead of yours, but I think it is safe to say that you can expect a response on an urgent ticket in less than an hour, usually much less.

  2. WordPress can definitely be upgraded from the dashboard. The crash and 500 error you experienced were related to another issue, which is now resolved.
