Hi,

You can do the upload over command-line as shown here:

http://docs.webfaction.com/user-guide/databases.html#import

or you can install your phpMyAdmin as a Static/CGI/PHP app and raise the upload limit for it using:

http://docs.webfaction.com/software/php.html#configuring-an-upload-limit

Hope that helps!

Thanks neeravk for the fast answer.

I am trying to do it over the command-line with putty as you suggested me, but I get thousands of lines with these error after entering the password.

Error reading file 'UNOPENED' (Errcode: 21)

What I am trying to do is to export the database "datosfreak_paseo" and import it to the empty "datosfreak explo" with the following commands:

1- I export it to this folder webbaps/explo/basedatos/ with this command from this tutorial:

cd ~/webapps/explo/basedatos/

mysqldump -u datosfreak_paseo datosfreak_paseo -p > dump.sql

2- I checked the result with ftp and was succesful since I have a new 50MB dump.sql file

3- Then I imported with this command gotten from the same tutorial as before

mysql -u datosfreak_explo -p -D datosfreak_explo < ~/webapps/explo/basedatos/

I am doing it wright?

Thanks in advance

The command should be:

mysql -u datosfreak_explo -p -D datosfreak_explo < ~/webapps/explo/basedatos/dump.sql

It works!, I managed to copy the database in a duplicated website. But I am having a problem with the spanish accent character (á, é, í, etc). My new site does not display any page with an accent in its URL, but the original page does not have that problem. As my site is a Mediawiki I thought that maybe I have a problem there, and I made a post in MWusers, but they answered me that it is a problem with my distribution php software.

Any Idea on how to fix that?

Thanks
