Is this something I need to be concerned about? This warning seems to come up pretty regularly on a webapp we're using to host WordPress in networked mode with several sites up and running.

It appears to be triggered, specifically, by performing admin actions on the sites in the backend (POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php).

Here's the complete message, with some incriminating info removed:

2011/08/15 13:51:03 [warn] 11582#0: *27797531 a client request body is buffered to a temporary file /usr/local/nginx/client_body_temp/0000013227, client: 84.000.000.000, server: *.adomain.com, request: "POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php HTTP/1.1", host: "www.ahost.com", referrer: "http://www.ahost.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=692&action=edit&message=1"

Unless you're seeing some kind of problem in your site, like incomplete uploads or whatever, then you can safely ignore that warning.

I'm back - we're seeing this again, only this time it's coupled with form posts not coming through. Humongous form posts. Checking the request body shows that the majority of postfields did not make it through to the receiving script.

Any ideas? This is on 75.125.121.226

Is it possible to provide a process in which we can reproduce the problem? The POST, the URL and a way to check the data. If the data or method is not public you may submit a support ticket with the info.

I've just logged a ticket.

I had the same problem (under php5.6) and it was because of my php.ini was wrong. I had to disable open_basedir custom path I set and add file_uploads=1 and always_populate_raw_post_data=-1
