Hi! I followed these instructions http://docs.webfaction.com/software/general.html#granting-access-to-specific-users to create new users for my static application.

All seems well with the files that exist at the time, but when a user creates a new file, this can not be edited by another user, why?

For example: This file can be edit by "user1" but not by "davidmatas".

# file: user1.html
# owner: user1
# group: davidmatas
user::rw-
user:davidmatas:rwx     #effective:r--
user:user1:rwx           #effective:r--
group::r-x               #effective:r--
mask::r--
other::r--

It looks like you missed step 5 in that process. That should create a default entry with the permissions you specified. If you still have problems, you might want to open a support ticket so that we can look at your account directly. https://help.webfaction.com/
