Is it possible to install "pandoc", the document converter (http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/) on my webfaction account? Could you explain me how could I do that, or at least give me some hints? Thank you very much asked 16 Sep '11, 10:23 Cesco |
Many software packages can be installed in your home directory if you build them from source. We have some documentation here: http://docs.webfaction.com/software/home-install.html The link to the source for Pandoc is at the bottom of this page: http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/installing.html answered 16 Sep '11, 10:59 maryh Thank you very much

In order to instsall pandoc you need Haskell Platform installed ... well let me know if you can mahage to have it installed. I wonder why we can't have this installed as a package. Maybe a request by multiple users can help ? answered 04 Nov '13, 05:02 epy |
