How can I see slow queries in my mysql database?

We have to enable the slow query log system-wide and it increases system load, so you can not enable it and we normally do not enable it unless we have to. You can use the mytop tool to watch your queries in real-time and if they run to long (60 seconds) we will kill them and send you a warning.
