I'm trying to re-delegate my domain aalandriel.dk to my webfaction hosting account. However DK-hostmaster requires the nameserver at webfaction to recognize the domain before the re-delegation can be approved. I've added my domain to the list of domains and bound an application to it. Do I just have to wait for the webfaction nameservers to update? Response when trying to re-delegate: "Error: Answer from primary name server: "ns1.webfaction.com" SERVFAIL [aalandriel.dk,NS,IN]." asked 12 Oct '11, 12:47 Aalandriel |
There was a problem with the entry for your domain on ns1. That has been fixed and it will resolve now. Please make sure that you specify all 4 NS servers or as many as you can. This way if there is a problem with one name server, it can be looked up on another. Please try again. If you still have problems, please open a support ticket https://help.webfaction.com/ answered 12 Oct '11, 16:05 bmeyer71 ♦♦ |
Cheers got fixed :) Didn't think to test the other servers. Have an other domain I'll be moving so will see if that works out correctly answered 12 Oct '11, 16:18 Aalandriel |

and fixed.. either webfaction customer support is just that awesome, or the second issue was in my being overly impatient. answered 12 Oct '11, 16:57 Aalandriel |
