I have two Django apps installed, my memory consumption:

  RSS COMMAND
 1896 /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/conf/httpd
14308 /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/conf/httpd
14504 /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/conf/httpd
 2180 /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff/apache2/conf/httpd
 1836 /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/conf/httpd.conf -k s
14480 /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/conf/httpd.conf -k s
14480 /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/conf/httpd.conf -k s
 2156 /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/bin/httpd.worker -f /home/username/webapps/stuff2/apache2/conf/httpd.conf -k s
 1636 sshd: username@pts/0
 1444 -bash
  900 ps -u username -o rss,command
[username@web224 ~]$

Total: 69820 KB (68 MB)

Does this mean that I spent almost all from WebFaction's default 80MB memory quota?

Yes that is correct, you are using 68MB of your 80MB of the basic plan. You can get a total in MB with this command:

ps -u username -o rss,command | grep -v peruser | awk '{sum+=$1} END {print sum/1024}'

Argh, that's not good than :) I will probably have to switch back to google app engine for one app.

P.S. Thanks for the Total MB command.

The processes /usr/local/apache2-mpm-peruser/bin/httpd with runs with our uid does not count in the memory limit? These processes handle all our static/cgi/php webapps?

That's correct.
