HI,

I am trying to upload file (.mp3) size ranging between 10-12 MB in webfaction. My Media root is set to /home/django/webapps/django/project/media/

And MEDIA_URL = 'http://username.webfactional.com/media/'

model class class order(models.Model): location=models.FileField(upload_to="audio/")

path in Webfaction server for uploading /home/username/webapps/django/project/media/audio
But when I try to upload a file using admin interface it takes forever and unable to save the object. I am able to add records to other tables where there are no file uploads. So I conclude its something related to file upload.

Is there something I need to take care for file uploads that I am missing?

There is nothing we have in place that would stop a normal file upload in django. Are you using any kind of AJAX progress bar? If so they can fail. Also do you have MEDIA_ROOT defined with the correct path for the upload_to field?
