Hi -

I added the awstats application to my web app, but when I go to the site (https://stats.mydomain.com) there are no stats and the last Update field says: Never updated (See 'Build/Update' on awstats_setup.html page)

When I run update_awstats.sh (/home/myapp/webapps/awstats), here are my results:

Create/Update database for config "./cgi-bin/awstats.conf" by AWStats version 7.0 (build 1.971) From data in log file "data/log"... Phase 1 : First bypass old records, searching new record... Searching new records from beginning of log file... Jumped lines in file: 0 Parsed lines in file: 0 Found 0 dropped records, Found 0 comments, Found 0 blank records, Found 0 corrupted records, Found 0 old records, Found 0 new qualified records.

So, it looks like it's finding a the logs it needs, but no data in the logs. There should be data in there, so I'm wondering if there some other way I need to initialize this process or otherwise add the stats to the awstats process?

Thanks - Joe

I looked up your account. It looks like you entered the wrong name in the extra info field. That field needs to be the name of the website record you want to collect stats from. It looks like that should have been main.

Please have a look at these docs if you haven't already.

You're right, I put my website name in rather than main. it works now.

Thanks! Joe
