I have gettext localizations for my website. When i change .mo & .po files, the content does not immediately change on website. This is because gettext is cached and i've read that modified gettext are only recognized if apache is restarted.

Is apache (PHP/CGI webapp) restarted every now and then like it is with Django apps? Or, how can i restart it by hand - as far as i know, we have system wide Apaches and i guess it's now a great idea to kill it ;)

Hi,

The shared Apache web server gets restarted once in a while, particularly when the configuration files need to be regenerated. You cannot restart it yourself though.

If you absolutely need it restarted right away, please open a ticket, and we will restart it for you.
