I have a cron as below:

* 10,20 * * * ps -u user_id -o rss,etime,pid,command | grep -v mpm

(I'm assuming this gets executed at 10:00 and 20:00). But every time it executes I get two emails. Is anything wrong or is there a way to control the email flow?

Thank you.

Going by that entry, your job should run at 10:00 and 20:00.

When you run the command manually, do you get double output?

One way that you could have more control over the mailing portion would be to dump the output to a file then send that via a script.
