I don't have my own domain, and plan to host several sites with domain:

site1.username.webfaction.com
site2.username.webfaction.com
site3.username.webfaction.com

But the browser seems not able to resolve the subdomain xxx.username.webfaction.com . What could be wrong with this? Thanks.

Hi,

Have you added these subdomains in your control panel? It usually takes a few minutes for such changes to take effect. If you already tried to access such a subdomain after you added it in the control panel, your local DNS resolver might have cached it. Try flushing your local DNS cache, or just wait some more time, and the subdomains should start working.

@todork, it works now. I think you are right, local DNS caching causes the issue.
