Hi all, I am working with pinax, pip, virtualenv and virtualenvwrapper for a django project. I just need to ask why pinax is being referenced from my /home/rawfish/lib/python2.7 directory instead of inside my virtualenv (/home/rawfish/.virtualenvs/app/lib/) folder? I used the --no-site-packages option when installing.

Here is my sys.path:

['', '/home/rawfish/lib/python2.7/virtualenv-1.7.1.2-py2.7.egg', '/home/rawfish/lib/python2.7/virtualenvwrapper-3.0-py2.7.egg', '/home/rawfish/lib/python2.7/Pinax-0.9b1.dev9-py2.7.egg', '/home/rawfish/lib/python2.7/Django-1.3.1-py2.7.egg', '/home/rawfish/lib/python2.7/pip-1.1-py2.7.egg', '/home/rawfish/lib/python2.7', '/usr/local/lib/python27.zip', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/plat-linux2', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/lib-tk', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/lib-old', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages', '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/PIL']

Is there anyway I might be able to work only locally from inside my virtualenv instead of affecting my /home/rawfish/lib/python2.7 folder? Thanks for viewing!

Hi, I can't see /home/rawfish/.virtualenvs/app/lib/ on your sys.path, while /home/rawfish/lib/python2.7 is on it. You need to fix that. It's hard to determine how to fix it unless we look at your actual settings. If you want further help with this, I'd suggest you open a ticket.
