We have an existing web site kludge (domain = gmss.us) hosted by godaddy. We have built a nice new site on webfaction and want to switch the domain to point to the webfaction site. What are the steps involved to do this ? asked 30 Apr '12, 15:35 Rick Moore |
As long as you have the domains added to your WebFaction account and assigned to your website entry in the Control Panel. You would just need to update your dns information with your registrar to either point an A record to your WebFaction server or point to the WebFaction DNS servers. If you have any troubles, you can open a support ticket for us to look at closer. answered 30 Apr '12, 15:41 bmeyer71 ♦♦ |
To point your domain to WebFaction you can update your nameservers for your domain with Go Daddy. To Set Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered with Go Daddy
