Hi, some (not a lot) complain that activation mail is found in their spam folder. Good thing is that gmail is not doing that. Is there a way (or tips) for activation e-mail not to end in the spam folder? asked 21 May '12, 03:09 xpanta |
Hi, There are many different anti-spam tools, and each have different rules for when to determine that a message is spam. Unfortunately, activation mail often resembles spam. There is no surefire way to prevent this from happening, other than asking the recipients to whitelist the sender email address. answered 21 May '12, 04:53 todork Thanks. I know there are some rules. What do I need to follow when sending mail through the smtp server of webfaction? That is why I posted here.

There is no way to follow some simple rules to avoid your message to be determined as spam - if this were possible, spammers would be able to mask their messages as non-spam as well.
