Hi all,

i've successfully set up rabbitmq on webfaction (2 custom app listening on port for erlang and rabbitmq), and i can exchange message with python scripts runs on my account on webfaction.

Now i want to create a client as a consumer on my local machine, but i have no idea of how i connect to my rabbitmq on webfaction.

The producer will be a turbogears app, and i can send a message queue to rabbitmq broker just fine with pika.

How can i connect my local consumer client to remote rabbitmq broker on webfaction?

If you need to connect to your RabbitMQ port from a remote client, then please open a support ticket to let us know. We'll be able to open the firewall to allow access to your port on your server's secondary shared IP.
