I'm trying to run the pip install for Twilio, with the command: pip-2.7 install twilio

I get a "Permission denied: '/home/build'" error.

Running it with sudo seems to be disallowed.

Please check that you're following all of the steps and using all of the relevant options that we have documented here: Installing Packages with Pip

The short version:

mkdir -p ~/lib/python2.7
pip-2.7 install twilio

Hope that helps!

Yes, I am.

Just to be sure, can you please run the commands exactly as I have them in my (edited) answer above?

That should work - if it does not, then please open a support ticket so that we can check your account.

I did it over again and it worked. I must have missed something somewhere. Thanks.
